Googleは、2024年12月に発表したビデオ生成AIモデル「Veo 2」の価格を明らかにしました。
「Veo 2」を使用する際の料金は、1秒あたり50セントで、これにより1分あたり30ドル、1時間あたり1,800ドルとなります。

Google DeepMindの研究員であるJon Barron氏は、この価格設定を、製作費が約3億5,600万ドル、つまり1秒あたり約3万2,000ドルとされる大ヒット映画「アベンジャーズ/エンドゲーム」と比較しています。
もちろん、Veo 2は、顧客が支払った秒数すべてを使用するわけではなく、また3時間の長編映画を生成することも難しいとされていますが、2分以上のクリップを作成できる能力が強調されています。

OpenAIは最近、月額200ドルのChatGPT Proサブスクリプションを通じて、ビデオ生成モデルSoraを提供しています。

なお、日本語で「料金 | Generative AI | Google Cloud」を見た場合「Veo 2」はまだ価格表に反映されていない。
