Googleは、PCおよびモバイルゲーム向けの新しい開発者ツールとタイトルを発表しました。新たに導入されるSDKにより、ネイティブPCゲームのアプリ内購入が可能になり、Play Consoleも更新されます。
すべてのモバイルゲームがデフォルトでPCで利用できるようになり、AMDベースのデバイスへの対応も進められます。また、新しいGraphics API「Vilkan」が導入され、よりスムーズなフレームレートとビジュアルが実現されます。
GDCでは、「Game of Thrones: Kingsroad」や「Sonic Rumble」などの新タイトルが発表され、モバイルゲームの一部もPCでプレイ可能になります。さらに、カスタムコントロールやゲームサイドバーなどのユーザー向け機能も追加され、プレイヤーの体験が向上します。
